At EFT Journey Academy, we offer our sessions under three main categories: EFT sessions, Family Constellation sessions, and Psychotherapy sessions, each tailored to the specific needs of the client.

Because every individual’s life experience, emotional burden, and needs are unique, we do not approach the session process with a standard mold, but rather with a personalized approach. For this reason, we always conduct an individual preliminary consultation before starting sessions.

During this preliminary consultation, the client’s reason for applying, their expectations, and their current situation are evaluated in detail. Following this, it is determined from a professional perspective whether an EFT session or a Family Constellation session would be the most suitable work for the client.

Our primary priority during the session process is for the client to feel safe, understood, and comfortable. In EFT sessions, the individual’s emotional difficulties, stress, anxiety, past experiences, or recurring emotional cycles are addressed within a structured framework.

What is Family Constellation?

Family Constellation is a holistic study aimed at understanding the visible or invisible bonds, intergenerational transmissions, and repetitive relationship patterns that form within the family system to which an individual belongs. The primary goal of Family Constellation is to reorganize the disrupted flow within the system. Traumas experienced within the family system, unexpressed emotions, unprocessed grief, or excluded family members can cause interruptions in the flow of energy. These interruptions affect not only the period in which they occurred but can also impact subsequent generations, leading to the repetition of similar problems.

According to the Family Constellation approach, energy flows from top to bottom within the family system. When this natural flow is disrupted for any reason, the entire system is affected. During a Family Constellation session, the traumas blocking this flow are made visible; suppressed emotions are expressed, and incomplete processes are brought to awareness. In sessions conducted through representatives, the flow within the system can regain movement as the representative processes the grief or brings the traumatic situation to light.

Bert Hellinger, the founder of Family Constellation Therapy, explains this situation with these words:

“Entanglement occurs when a person unconsciously takes on and lives out the fate of a previous family member within the family system.”

Family Constellation work aims to ensure these entanglements are recognized, allowing the individual to differentiate their own life from the fate of their family.

How Do Family Constellation Sessions Proceed?

In Family Constellation sessions, an individual’s bonds with their family system are addressed within the framework of relational repetitions, emotional burdens, and intergenerational transmissions. Sessions are conducted in a non-judgmental and professional environment, respecting the client’s boundaries. The goal is not to offer quick fixes, but to create space for the client to recognize their own internal process and progress step-by-step with this newfound awareness.

Sessions are carried out through representatives, and the client is an active participant in the process. During the work, what is being done, why it is being done, and the current stage of the process are shared in a clear and understandable manner. This transparent approach supports the client’s confident involvement in the process.

At EFT Journey Academy, Family Constellation is not viewed as an application promising superficial or single-session solutions; rather, it is seen as a professional field of work that allows the individual to address family bonds, emotional burdens, and recurring cycles in their life with deeper awareness.

Note Regarding the Session: The session takes place through representatives. Session Duration: Lasts approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.
