What is an EFT Session?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a method applied by tapping on the endpoints of energy meridians around the body, helping to reduce physical tension and promote a deeper, calmer mind-body connection. It is based on acupuncture points and allows individuals to release negative emotions, leaving them feeling both mentally and physically more relaxed and empowered.
EFT can be used to cope with various issues such as daily stress, addictions, sleep problems, depression, exam anxiety, irrational fears, insecurity, fear of public speaking, and more. The first rule of EFT is to accept and acknowledge the issue we are facing. Then, by focusing on the problem, we elevate the emotion we are experiencing to its highest intensity. At this point, we gently tap on the endpoints of the energy meridians with our fingertips. After each round, we assess our emotions on a scale from -10 to +10 and continue tapping until we reach a +10 level.
